Overview of Supported Security Features

This section provides an overview of the security features that the phone supports. For more information about these features and about Cisco Unified CallManager and Cisco Unified IP Phone security, refer to the Cisco Unified CallManager Security Guide.

Also refer to the Cisco Unified CallManager Security Guide to obtain a list of interactions, restrictions, and limitations for security.

For information about current security settings on a phone, choose Settings > Security Configuration and choose Settings > Device Configuration > Security Configuration.. For more information, see the “Security Configuration Menu” section on page 4-37and the “Security Configuration Menu” section on page 4-33.

Note Most security features are available only if a certificate trust list (CTL) is installed on the phone. For more information about the CTL, refer to Cisco Unified CallManager Security Guide.
