1. To identify an MPS with a specific name, use the following command:

mpoa server config name mps−name

2. The ATM address that specifies the control ATM can be optionally identified using this command:

atm−address atm−address

3. To specify the network ID, use the following command:

network−id id

4. To identify a keepalive time value, use the following command:

keepalive−time time

5. To change the holding−time value, use the following command:

holding−time time

Monitoring the MPS

To monitor the MPS, use the following command in Privileged EXEC mode:

show mpoa server

Enabling ILMI Autoconfiguration

The following example shows how to enable Integrated Local Management Interface (ILMI) autoconfiguration on interface ATM 3/1/2:

CoriolisLS1010(config)# interface atm 3/1/2

CoriolisLS1010(config−if)# atm auto−configuration

CoriolisLS1010(config−if)#

%ATM−5−ATMSOFTSTART:Restarting ATM signaling and ILMI on ATM3/1/2

Configuring LANE on a LightStream 1010

To configure a LANE client connection from a remote ATM switch router to the processor card (CPU) of a local switch, follow these configuration steps:

1. Use the enable command to enter Privileged EXEC mode:

CoriolisLS1010> enable

2. Use the config terminal command to enter Global Configuration mode:

CoriolisLS1010# config terminal

3.Enter Subinterface mode for the processor card using the following command:

CoriolisLS1010(config)# interface atm 0[.subinterface]

4.You must specify an ATM address to override the automatic ATM address assigned to a LANE client:

CoriolisLS1010(config−if)# lane client−atm−address atm−address−template
