Monitoring and Viewing the MLS Configuration
Commands on each MLS−SE and MLS−RP to monitor and view the configurations of each device are
different. Let’s take a look at the following commands:

Viewing the MLS Aging Configuration on a Catalyst 6000

To see the MLS aging configuration on a Catalyst 6000, use the show mls aging command as shown here:
MLS−RP# show mls aging

Displaying the IP MLS Configuration

To display the MLS configuration for the MLS−RP, use the following command:
MLS−RP# show mls rp
The output should look similar to this:
ip multilayer switching is globally enabled
ipx multilayer switching is globally enabled
ipx mls inbound acl override is globally disabled
mls id is 0008.80e4.abd2
mls ip address 38.187.127.254
mls ip flow mask is destination
mls ipx flow mask is unknown

Viewing MLS−RPs

To see which MLS−RPs are configured on an MLS switch, use the following command:
MLS−RP> (enable) show mls include

Viewing MLS−RP Specifics

To display MLS information for a specific MLS−RP on an MLS switch, enter the following:
