Viewing the Software Version on a Set/Clear Command−BasedIOS Module
To view the software version of a module on a Set/Clear command−based IOS, use the show version
command. This command will not work on internal route processor modules, however. Let’s look at the
command and an example of its output:
show version <slot number>
