AC PEMs

Each AC PEM converts 200 to 240 VAC into -48 VDC, which is distributed through the chassis backplane to all cards, RPs, and the fan assembly.

Figure 1-8identifies the components of an AC power supply.

The status LEDs on the AC PEM provide information about the current operational status of the power supply. Table 1-4summarizes the function of these indicators.
