Chapter 5 Maintaining the Router

Removing and Replacing an AC Power Entry Module

Step 11 Power on the circuit breaker assigned to that AC outlet.

Step 12 Power on the PEM.

•The green Input OK and Output OK LEDs should be on.

•The amber Output Fail LED should be off.

See the “Troubleshooting an AC PEM Installation” section on page 5-15 if the PEM does not power on correctly.

Troubleshooting an AC PEM Installation

Refer to Figure 5-9and use the following procedure to troubleshoot the

PEM installation.
