Port Speed. This field displays the port current operating speed (100M or 10M) relative to the speed of the device connected to it.

Speed Capability. This field displays the port current speed set- ting, Auto for auto-detect/correct, 100M for 100Mbps connections only, or 10M for 10Mbps connections only. This variable is user con- figurable.

You can use PREV GROUP and NEXT GROUP to switch to another hub, or PREV PORT and NEXT PORT to switch to another port. You can also enter the port Group ID and Port ID numbers to go directly to a different port.

Monitoring the Hub Stack

The hub supports several monitoring functions, allowing you to keep statis- tics on the operation of each port, each hub, and the entire network segment, as well as to monitor the addresses of the packets received at each port.
