Limit Alarms JULY 2010
1. Use the Application > Limit Alarms menu
to access this function.
2. The Limit Alarms dialog appears.
3. To change the assigned variable, stream or
component, click the appropriate cell and
use the provided pull-down menu.
Note that you must first select a variable
before entering the related data.
4. To assign the discrete hardware output that
will be set when the alarm is active, click in
the appropriate cell and use the provided
pull-down menu.
Output values range from “1” to “N”, per the
discrete hardware output identification
