Parameter Data Format

bConnect time limit

This parameter specifies the maximum period of time for which the open state of the connection can be maintained before the TARG starts the closing processing as a multiple of 100 μs.

This value of the HDD is infinite. This parameter cannot be changed by INITs.

The HDD ignores the value specified for this parameter.

c.Maximum burst size

This parameter specifies the maximum number of transfer bytes that the TARG transfers in the data frames between the OPEN processing for the address frame and the execution of the DONE-CLOSE primitive as a multiple of 512 bytes.

The HDD ignores the value specified for this parameter.

d.First burst size

When the ENABLE FIRST BURST bit of the command frame is set to "1," this parameter specifies the maximum number of write data bytes that an INIT can transfer without transferring XFER_RDY frames immediately after transfer of a command frame. The number of bytes is specified in this parameter as a multiple of 512 bytes.

Since the HDD does not support the ENABLE FIRST BURST function for command frames, this parameter is ignored if specified.
