1.5.5.6Closing a connection

CLOSE is used to close a connection of any protocol. After transmitting CLOSE, the source phy shall initialize a Close Timeout timer to 1 ms and start the Close Timeout timer. Table 1.28 lists the responses to a CLOSE being transmitted.

Response		Description
CLOSE		This confirms that the connection has been closed.
Close Timeout		The originating phy shall attempt to break the connection.
