2.8 Command Processing Exceptions

2.8.1 Overlapped tag

The HDD recognizes that commands and tasks have been overlapped when it receives a command or task with the same tag from the same INIT as a command being executed or held in its queue, and abnormally terminates command or task processing.

The execution of a command or task ends when the TARG reports RESPONSE to the INIT. The execution of a command is also terminated with ABORT TASK, ABORT TASK SET, CLEAR TASK SET, LOGICAL UNIT RESET or HARD RESET.
