You may not have to enter SPID information for the DIVA T/A to function properly if your ISDN line is configured for non- initializing mode. The DIVA T/A features automatic non- initializing mode support, which enables the interface to operate without programming a SPID, or to retain basic service if SPID initialization fails. However, your local telephone company has to turn this feature on. As you lose functionality, we do not recommend this operation mode.
