Printing special pages

Special pages within the memory of the printer can help you to diagnose and learn about problems with your printer.

￿Configuration page

The configuration page lists many of the current settings and properties of the printer. For information about how to print the configuration page, see “Configuration page” on

page 72. If you have an EIO print server card installed, a second page (the Jetdirect page) prints that lists all of the HP Jetdirect information.

￿Font list

You can print a font list using the control panel (see “PS or PCL font list” on page 76) or (for Macintosh computers) the HP LaserJet Utility (see “HP LaserJet Utility” on page 15).

￿Supplies status page

Use the supplies status page to obtain information about the print cartridge installed in the printer, the amount of life left in the print cartridge, and the number of pages and jobs that have been processed (see “Supplies status page” on page 74).
