The system error log

The printer saves a log of system errors that you can access in the following ways.

Using a USB flash drive

1.Create an empty file named pdipu_enable.log in a USB flash drive.

2.Insert the USB flash drive into the Hi-Speed USB host port in the front panel. The log will be automatically copied into the drive.

Using the Embedded Web Server

1.In your Web browser, go to http://printer IP address/hp/device/webAccess/log.html.

2.The Embedded Web Server will send you a file with the extension .trb containing the system error log. Alternatively, select the Support tab, then Service Support > Download Diagnostic Package.
