Installing internal drives

Types 8301 and 8302

To remove the hard disk drive, do the following:

1.Push up on the blue bar on the front of the computer. This will detach the hard drive.

2.Slide the hard drive forward out of the computer.

3.Disconnect the hard drive cables.

4.Remove the 4 screws securing the hard drive inside the hard drive cage and slide the drive out of the cage.

Note: When replacing the hard disk drive, make sure you obtain the proper Recovery CD to install after you install the new hard drive.
