SECTION 8

CMOS Setup

"Auto Suspend After:

Period of inactivity (standby) which results in the sys- tem entering the suspend state — Disabled (default), 1, 2, 4, 6, 10, 14, 20, or 30 minutes.

"Resume on Ring Indicate

Allows Ring Indicate (RI) to trigger a resume. If ENABLED, RI causes a resume. If set to DISABLED/APM (default), RI is controlled by Windows 95 and only causes a resume if the feature is activated by an APM 1.2 power driver.

"Number of Rings

Whether RI is enabled, above, or enabled by an APM 1.2 power driver, this option sets the number of rings necessary to cause a resume (wake the system) — 1, 3 (default), 5, or 7.

"CRT Power Mode

Controls whether an external CRT is enabled. This can be set to Auto (default), On, or Off, which bases CRT power on the docking state.

"Charge Triggers Resume

Allows the system to wake up when external power is applied — On (default) or Off.

"Aux Switch:

Auxiliary radio switch. “Auto” switches on when the 6620 Computer is docked; off when the 6620 Computer is undocked — On or Off (default).

"Radio Switch:

Main radio switch. This allows the system to switch between a local and remote antenna for LAN, WAN, or GPS radios — Local (default), Remote, or Auto. “Auto” dictates that the local antenna be used when the 6620 Computer is undocked; and the remote antenna be used when the 6620 Computer is docked.
