A Global Positioning System (GPS) radio communicates with various satellites to determine the latitude and longi- tude of your location.

Installing the GPS Drivers from the DRVSETUP program will install both GPSHOOK.VXD and the GPS test pro- gram.

GPSHOOK.VXD

This driver is required to power on and off the GPS radio automatically when the COM port assigned to the radio is opened and closed, respectively.

GPS Test Program

This program verifies the functionality of the GPS radio. Double-click the GPS Test Program icon on the Windows desktop to access the application.
