The timer type, range, and default settings depend on the PVC type. Refer to
Table 6-2 for PVC types, timer types, ranges, and defaults.
This example displays:
zLow PVC set to 30
zHigh PVC set to 50
zPVC Type set to Active
zTimer Value set to 230.
SVC Configuration Settings
Description
SVCs are network connections that are established when transmission is required
and are disconnected when the session is complete. The SVC settings are configured
using the following menu items:
zIncoming only SVC low—Defines the minimum LCN used for incoming only SVCs.
zIncoming only SVC high—Defines the maximum LCN used for incoming only SVCs.
zTwo-way SVC low—Defines the minimum LCN used for an SVC.
zTwo-way SVC high—Defines the maximum LCN used for an SVC.
zOutgoing only SVC low—Defines the minimum LCN used for outgoing only SVCs.
AI296 can place calls on outgoing only SVCs greater than the maximum PVC
and/or two-way SVC.
zOutgoing only SVC high—Defines the maximum LCN used for outgoing only SVCs.
AI296 can place calls on outgoing only SVCs.
