TID Multiplexing: TID Multiplexing Configuration

7.For Application string, enter:

TMUXn [ TID:tid_for_AI296 ]

Defines the maximum number of children connections. Valid

 

values are 1 to 128.

tid_for_AI296 Defines the terminal identifier for AI296.

8.For Called protocol, enter ="".

9.(optional) For Caller's protocol, enter the caller's protocol.

10.Save your changes.

Configuring the Children Aliases

Configuration in the AI198 Menu System

AI296 supports a maximum of 512 child connections. These connections can be X.25, asynchronous, or TCP/IP.

To configure the child aliases:

1.Log into AI198.

2.At the prompt, enter menu to access the Main Menu.

3.For 08+Configure the alias translation table, enter 8. The alias configuration

menu appears.
