7. Locate the battery on the system board 1.
8.Remove the battery:
a.Use one finger to push the battery horizontally out of its housing, pushing it away from the PCI riser 2.
b.Lift the battery from the socket.

Installing the battery
The following notes describe information that you must consider when you replace the battery in the server.
vYou must replace the battery with a lithium battery of the same type from the same manufacturer.
