Configuring the Printer Driver 51

There are two methods of accessing the configura tion options of the printer driver:
You should configure your printer driver se ttings via the printer driver properties
method for your typical print jobs and use your application’s printer setup method for
print jobs that require s pecial, less freque ntly needed printer settin gs.
The tabs and a summary of the options f ound on each are as follows:
General—Allows you attach comments, use a separator pag e, and print a test page.

Sharing—Allows you to set up the printer so others on the network can use it. See
your Wi ndows documentation.

Lets you assign the defaul t printer setti ngs for

How To:
1 From the Windows Start menu choose
Settings.
2 Choose Print ers.
3 Se lect the magicolor 2200 DeskLase r
printer driver.
4 Fro m t h e F i le menu , c h oo se Pr ope rtie s.
5 Mak e your selections, and then choose
OK t o save your changes.
6 Close the Printers windo w.
How To:
1 From the applicati on’s File menu choose
Print (or, in some cases, Print Setup or
Page Setup).
2 In the Print, Print Setup, or Page Setup
dialog box, select the magic olor 2200
DeskLaser pri nter dr iver.
3 Choose the Properti es button.
4 Make your selections, and then choose
OK to save yo ur changes.
5 Choose OK from the Print Setup window.
