Your phone’s battery should have enough charge for

 

your phone to turn on and find a signal, set up your

 

voicemail, and make a call. You should fully charge

 

your battery as soon as possible. See “Charging the

 

Battery” on page 18 for details.

 

 

Activating Your Phone

If you purchased your phone at a Sprint Store, your phone should be activated and ready to use.

IfyoureceivedyourphoneinthemailanditisforanewSprint account or a new line of service, your phone is designed to activate automatically when you first turn it on. To confirm your activation, make a phone call.

Ifyoureceivedyourphoneinthemailandyouareactivatinga newphoneforanexistingnumberonyouraccount, you will need to contact Sprint Customer Service to activate your new phone. There are two activation options:

From your computer’s web browser, go to www.sprint.com/activate and complete the onscreen instructions to activate your phone.

Setting Up Your Voicemail

All unanswered voice calls to your phone are automatically transferred to your voicemail, even if your phone is in use or turned off. Therefore, Sprint recommends that you set up your voicemail and personal greeting as soon as your phone is activated.
