16 Section 2A. Phone Basics

Battery Capacity
Your phone is equipped with a Lithium Ion (Li-Ion)
battery. It allows you to recharge your battery before it is
fully drained. The battery provides up to four hours of
continuous talk time.
When the battery reaches 5% of its capacity, the battery
icon blinks. When there are just a few minutes of talk
time left, the phone sounds an alert. If a charge is not
received the phone will power down.
Installing the Battery
1. Make sure the phone is powered off.
2. Remove the battery door:
Press the release button and remove the battery
cover from the back of the phone.
3. Once unlocked, the door should lift up.
Note Long backlight settings, searching for service, vibrate
mode, browser use, and other variables may reduce
the battery’s talk and standby times.
Tip Watch your phone’s battery level indicator and
charge the battery before it runs out of power.
