911 Emergency Calling

Sprint recommends that TTY users make emergency calls by other means, including Telecommunications Relay Services (TRS), analog cellular, and landline communications. Wireless TTY calls to 911 may be corrupted when received by public safety answering points (PSAPs), rendering some communications unintelligible. The problem encountered appears related to TTY equipment or software used by PSAPs. This matter has been brought to the attention of the FCC, and the wireless industry and the PSAP community are currently working to resolve this.

Phone Setup Options	Settings
Your phone offers you the option of assigning shortcuts	Settings
Shortcuts
to your favorite or often-used functions. Pressing the
navigation key up, down, left or right in standby mode
launches your personally designated shortcuts.

1.Press S>Settings/Tools>Settings>Display> AssignKeys.

2.Select the navigation key direction and press S.

3.Select the desired shortcut and press S.

Tip	If you choose to hide the shortcuts, you can still use
	them by pressing the appropriate navigation key.

Call Answer Mode

Select how to answer incoming calls on your phone.

1.Press S>Settings/Tools>Settings>More...

>CallSetup>CallAnswer.

2.To select an option, highlight it and press S.
