Chapter 4: Configuring your VOIP

Call Signaling

There are three types of Call Signaling available: H.323, SIP and SPP. Each type has some individual features that may make it more appealing to use than the others, depending on your needs. The –SS and –FX models do not support H.323 signaling.

H.323

H.323 is an ITU-T recommended set of standards for audio and video communications. The fields for this screen are defined in the table below.
