2.6 Date and time
You must set the date and time for both the handset and the base unit.
2.6.1Setting the time and date on the handset

Important:
LConfirm that the power cord is connected. L Ensure that w is not flashing.
L If a power failure occurs, the time and date for the handset needs to be reset.
1Press {j}.
2Press {e} or {v} repeatedly to display the following.
3Press {>}.
4Press {*}.
5Enter the current hour/minute by selecting 2 digits for each.
Example: 15:15 (24 hour clock entry) Press {1}{5}{1}{5}.
LIf you make a mistake, press {C}. Digits are cleared from the right.
6Press {>} or {j}.
7Press {>}.
8Press {*} 2 times.
9Enter the current day/month/year by selecting 2 digits for each.
Example: 10 August, 2003 Press {1}{0} {0}{8} {0}{3}.
LIf you make a mistake, press {C}. Digits are cleared from the right.
10Press {>} or {j}.
11Press {ih} to exit the program.
2.6.2Setting the date and time on the base unit

1Press {MENU}.
SYSTEM SET UP
PRESS NAVI.[( )]
2Press {<} or {>} repeatedly to display the following.
SET DATE & TIME
PRESS SET
3Press {SET}.
LCursor () will appear on the display.

TIME: 12:00AM
4Enter the current day/month/year by selecting 2 digits for each.
