Youcan use this unit to control an HD Radio
tuner(GEX-P10HD), which is sold separately.
Fordetails concerning operation, refer to the
HDRadio tuner s operation manual.

Showswhich band the radio is tuned to, AM
orFM.
3Presetnumber indicator
Showswhich preset has been selected.
4Frequencyindicator
Showsthe frequency to which the tuner is
tuned.
5/ (signalreception status) indi-
cator
Whendigital signal is received, isdis-
played.Otherwise, isdisplayed.
6(HDstation) indicator
Showswhen the tuner is tuned to HD radio
station.
7(radiofield strength) indicator
Showsthe radio field strength.
8/ (seekmode) indica-
tor
Showsthe seek mode status.
9/ (receptionmode)
indicator
Showsthe setup value of reception mode.
1 Touchthe source icon and then touch
HDRadio to select the HD Radio.
2 TouchBand to select a band.
TouchBand until the desired band (FM1,
FM2,FM3for FM or AM) is displayed.
3 Toperform manual tuning, briefly
touchcor d.
#Youcan also perform manual tuning by press-
ingcor d(TRK).
4 Toperform seek tuning, keep touching
cordfor about one second and release.
Thetuner will scan the frequencies untila
broadcaststrong enough for good reception is
found.
#Youcan cancel seek tuning by briefly touching
eithercor d.
#Ifyou keep touching cor dyou can skip sta-
tions.Seek tuning starts as soon as you release
thekey.
#Youcan also perform seek tuning by pressing
andholding cor d(TRK).
Storing and recallingbroadcast

frequencies

Theoperation is the same as that of the tuner.
