Theoperation is the same as that of the built-

inDVD player.

Ifa USB portable audio player/USB memory

containscompressed audio files and JPEG

file,you can switch between media file types

toplay. Refer to Switching the media file type

onpage 16.

Using advanced sound

retriever

Advancedsound retriever function automati-

callyenhances compressed audio and re-

storesrich sound.

%TouchASR repeatedly to select the de-

siredsetting.

Off(off)—ASR1—ASR2

#ASR2is more effective than ASR1.

Note

Whenyou use this unit with a multi-channel pro-

cessor(DEQ-P8000) and switch the advanced

soundretriever function to ASR1 or ASR2, the vo-

lumewill become slightly lower. The volume will

becomemuch lower for ASR2 than it will for

ASR1.Take care when you increase the volume

forASR2 and then switch to Off, because the vo-

lumewill suddenly seem much louder.

!Ifyou select another folder during repeat play,

therepeat play range changes to All.

!Ifyou perform track search or fastforward/re-

verseduring File, the repeat play range

!WhenFolder is selected, it is not possible to

playback a subfolder of that folder.

!Afterfile or folderscanning is finished, nor-

malplayback of the files begins again.
