Handling guideline of discsand player
!Useonly discs featuring any of following
logos.
DVDvideo
VideoCD
CD
!Useonly normal, round discs. If you insert
irregular,non-round, shaped discs they
mayjam in the DVD player or not play prop-
erly.
!Checkall discs for cracks, scratches or
warpingbefore playing. Discs that have
cracks,scratches or are warped may not
playproperly. Do not use such discs.
!Avoidtouching the recorded (non-printed)
surfacewhen handling thedisc.
!Storediscs in their cases when not in use.
!Keepdiscs out of direct sunlight and do
notexpose the discs to high temperatures.
!Donot attach labels, write on or apply che-
micalsto the surface of thediscs.
!Toclean a disc, wipe the disc with a soft
clothoutward from the center.
!Ifthe heater is used in cold weather,con-
densationmay form on components inside
theDVD player. Condensation may cause
theDVD player to not operate properly. If
youthink that condensation is a problem
turnoff the DVD player foran hour or so to
allowit to dry out and wipe any damp discs
witha soft cloth to remove the moisture.
!Roadshocks may interrupt disc
playback.
DVD discs
!Withsome DVD video discs, it may not be
possibleto use certain functions.
!Itmay not be possible to play back some
DVDvideo discs.
!Itis not possible to play back DVD-ROM/
DVD-RAMdiscs.
