#Customis an adjusted equalizer curve that
youcreate. If you make adjustments to an equali-
zercurve, the equalizer curve setting is memor-
izedin Custom.
#WhenFlat is selected, no supplement or cor-
rectionis made to the sound. This is useful to
checkthe effect of the equalizer curves by switch-
ingalternatively between Flat and a set equalizer
curve.

Adjusting loudness
Loudnesscompensates for deficiencies in the
low-and high-sound ranges at low volume.
1 TouchLoudness on the audio function
menu.
2 Touchdto turn loudness on.

Using subwoofer output
Thisunit is equipped with a subwoofer output
whichcan be turned on or off.
!Whenthe subwoofer output is on, you can
adjustthe cut-off frequency and the output
levelof the subwoofer.

menu.
2 Touchdnext to Subwoofer to turn sub-
wooferoutput on.
#Toturn subwoofer output off, touch c.
3 Touchcor dnext to Phase to select
thephase of subwoofer output.
Touchdto select normal phase and Normal
appearsin the display. Touch cto select re-
versephase and Reverse appears in the dis-
play.
4 Touchcor dnext to Level to adjust
theoutput level of the subwoofer.
+6to –24 is displayed as the level is increased
ordecreased.
5 Touchcor dnext to Frequency to se-
lectcut-off frequency.
Eachtime you touch cor dselects cut-off fre-
quenciesin the following order:
50Hz—63Hz—80Hz—100Hz—125Hz
Onlyfrequencies lower than those in the se-
lectedrange are outputted from the sub-
woofer.
Boosting the bass
Bassboost function boosts the bass level of
sound.
1 TouchBass Booster on the audio func-
tionmenu.
2 Touchcor dto select a desired level.
0to+6 is displayed as the level is increased or
decreased.
