Switching the XM channelselect mode
Youhave two methods for selecting a channel:
bynumber and by category. When selecting
bynumber, channels in any category can be
selected.Select by category to narrow your
searchdown to only channels in a particular
category.
%TouchMode to select the desired chan-
nelselect mode.
TouchMode repeatedly to switch between the
followingchannel select modes:
ALL-CH(channel number select setting)—

Thelist content can be switched so you can
searchfor the track you want to listen to not
onlyby the channel name but also by the artist
nameor song title.

!Thechannel list shows all the channels
duringthe ALL-CH mode, and the channels
includedin the selected categor y during
theCategory mode. To switch the channel
mode,touch Mode.

Eachtouch of changesthe following set-
tingsas follows:
Channelname—Song title—Artist name
2 Touchthe desired channel that you
wantto listen to.
#Whenthe Category mode is selected, touch
aorbto switch to another category.
Selecting an XM channel directly
Youcan select an XM channel directly by en-
teringthe desired channel number.
1 TouchDirect.
2 Touch0 to 9 to input the desired chan-
nelnumber.
#Tocancel the input numbers, touch C.
3 Touch .
TheXM channel of entered number is
selected.
Using the MyMix function
TheMyMix function allows you to make the
MyMixsong playlist. When the song in the
MyMixplaylist is being broadcast on a station
otherthan the one you are listening to, you
willbe alerted, and you can tune to the station
tolisten to that song.

orized.

Makingthe MyMix playlist

Youcan add a song that is being broadcast to
theMyMix playlist. When it is added, the song
titleand its artist name is memorized to this
unit.The MyMix function will start on the song
thatmatches the song title and its artist name
inthe MyMix playlist.
1 Whena desired song is broadcast,
touchand hold Memo.
Thesong title and artist name of the song you
arelistening to are memorized, and a confir-
mationmessage appears.
#Thesong title and artist name of up to 12
trackscan be memorized. Trying to save more
than12 tracks will overwrite old ones.
#Youcannot memorize the song title or the ar-
tistname when “––––––––”isdisplayedon
thetitle information.
