Ifyou are already using a Pioneer analog TV
tuner,such as the GEX-P5700TV,read this section.
However,please read the important information
below.
!Pioneerstopped selling analog TV tuners in
theU.S. in 2006, and analog TV tuners are
alsono longer available in Canadian markets.
Pioneerdoes not sell a digital TV tuner in the
U.S.or in Canada.
!Inthe U.S., the switch from analog TV to digi-
talTV broadcasting is planned for February 17,
2009.
!InCanada, the switch from analog TV to digi-
talTV broadcasting is planned for August 31,
2011.
!THISMEANS THAT AFTER THE DATESSPECI-
FIEDABOVE (SUBJECT TO CHANGE), YOU
CANNO LONGER USE THIS UNIT WITH AN
ANALOGTV TUNER TO WATCHALMOST ALL
TVPROGRAMMING BROADCAST OVER-THE-
AIR.

GEX-P5700TV),which is sold separately.
Fordetails concerning operation, refer to the
TVtuner ’s operation manual. This section pro-
videsinformation onTV operations with this
unit,which differs from that described in the
TVtuner ’s operation manual.

1 Touchthe source icon and then touch
TVto select the TV.
#Whenthe source icon is not displayed, you
candisplay it by touching the screen.
2 Touchthe screen to display the touch
panelkeys.
3 TouchBand to select a band.
TouchBand repeatedly until the desired band
isdisplayed, TV1 or TV2.
4 Toperform manual tuning, briefly
touchcor d.

ingcor d(TRK).
