thisunit’s optical digital outputs are not con-

nected,DTS audio will not be output, so select

anaudio setting other than DTS.

theDVD. Depending on the setting, playback

maynot be with the same audio system as

youcan switch between subtitle languages

Changing the viewing angleduring playback (Multi-angle)

WithDVDs featuring multi-angle (scenes shot

frommultiple angles) recordings, you can

switchamong viewing angles during play-

back.

!Duringplayback of a scene shot from mul-

tipleangles, the angle icon isdis-

played.Turn angle icon display on or off

usingSetup. For details, refer to Setting the

angleicon display on page 47.

TouchingAngle during fast forward/fast reverse,

pauseor slow motion playback returns you to

normalplayback.

Return to the specified scene

Youcan return to the specified scene where

theDVD you are currently playing has been

preprogrammedto return.

scene.

#Ifa specified scene has not been prepro-

grammedin DVD disc, this function is not possi-

ble.

Automatic playback of DVDs

Whena DVD disc with DVD menu is inserted,

thisunit will cancel the DVD menu automati-

callyand start playback from the first chapter

ofthe first title.

!SomeDVDs may not operate properly. If

thisfunction is not fully operated, turn this

functionoff and start playback.

%TouchAuto Play to turn automatic play-

backon.

#Toturn automatic playback off, touch

AutoPlay again.

#Whenthe automatic playback is on, you can-

notoperate repeating play of DVD disc (refer to

Repeatingplay on the next page).
