Connecting a cellular phone

Searchingfor available cellular phones

1 TouchPhone Connect on the function

menu.

2 TouchSearch to search for available cel-

lularphones.

Whilesearching, Searching flashes. When

availablecellular phones featuring Bluetooth

wirelesstechnology are found, device name or

NameNot Found (if names cannot be ob-

tained)is displayed.

#Ifthis unit fails to find any available cellular

phones,Not Found is displayed.

#Youcan display the BD address by touching

BDADDR. To return to the device name, touch

PhoneName.

3 Touchthe device name you want to

connect.

Whileconnecting, Connecting flashes. To

completethe connection, check the device

name(Pioneer BTunit) and enter the link

codeon your cellular phone.

#Upto five peripheral cellular phones are dis-

played.

#PINcode is set to 0000 as the default. You

canchange this code in the initial setting. Refer

toEntering PIN code for Bluetooth wireless con-

nectionon page 51.

Usinga cellular phone to initiate a

connection

1 TouchPhone Connect on the function

menu.

2 TouchConnection Open.

ConnectionWaiting flashes and the unit is

nowon standby for connection from a cellular

phone.

3 Usecellular phone to connect to this

unit.

#Tocancel this function, touch

ConnectionOpen again.

#PINcode is set to 0000 as the default. You

canchange this code in the initial setting. Refer

nectionon page 51.

Disconnecting a cellular phone

1 TouchPhone Connect on the function

menu.

2 TouchDisconnect to disconnect the cur-

rentlyconnected cellular phone from this

unit.

Afterdisconnection is completed,

NoConnection is displayed.

Registering a connectedcellular phone

1 TouchPhone Register on the function

menu.

Registrationassignments for user phone 1, 2

and3 appear on the display.

2 Touchand hold one of the registration

assignmentsto register the currently con-

nectedphone.

Ifthe registration is succeeded, the device

nameof the connected phone is displayed in

theselected assignment.
