Repeating play

For compressed audio playback, there are three repeat play ranges: Folder (folder re- peat), File (one-track repeat) and Disc (repeat all tracks).

%Touch Repeat on the function menu to select the repeat range.

!File – Repeat the current track

!Folder – Repeat the current folder

#If you perform track search or fast forward/re- verse during File, the repeat play range changes to Folder.

#When Folder is selected, it is not possible to play back a subfolder of that folder.

#When playing discs with compressed audio and audio data (CD-DA), repeat play performs

within the currently playing data type even if Disc is selected.

Playing tracks in random order

Random play lets you play back tracks in a random order within the repeat range, Folder and Disc.

%Touch Random on the function menu to turn random play on.

Tracks will play in a random order within the

previously selected repeat range.

# To turn random play off, touch Random again.

1Touch Scan on the function menu to turn scan play on.

The first 10 seconds of each track of the cur- rent folder (or the first track of each folder) is played.

2When you find the desired track (or folder) touch Scan again.
