%When you want to operate the follow- ing functions, switch the mode to DVD:

!When operating the DVD menu by using the joystick. (Refer to Operating the DVD menu on page 34.)

!When browsing still pictures by using the joystick. (Refer to Browsing still pictures on page 35.)

!When operating the PBC menu by using 0–10. (Refer to Watching a Video CD on page 40.)

TV mode operation

TV operations available with a Pioneer TV tuner (e.g. GEX-P5700TV) can be controled with AVH mode. TV mode is not used with this unit.

!For details concerning operation, refer to the TV tuner’s operation manuals.

%When you want to operate the follow- ing functions only on the rear display, switch the mode to TV:

!When performing manual or seek tuning by moving the joystick left or right.

!When recalling preset stations by moving the joystick up or down.

!When confirming current channel and other settings by pressing DIRECT. (Refer to

Confirming current channel and other set- tings on page 85.)
