Using preset numbers
Important
Youare required to park your vehicle and set the
parkingbrake in orderto perform this operation.
Assigning preset numbers
Numbers that you dial frequently can be as-
signed to presets for quick recall.
Youcan assign up to 6 frequently called phone
numbers to number presets.
1 Select a desired phone number from
the Phone Book or the Call History. Or di-
rectly enter a desired phone number.
Toselect a desired phone number from the
Phone Book or the CallHistor y,see the in-
structions explained in previous pages. Todi-
rectly enter a desired phone number,see

this page.
The display should now be the normal display
and the selected phone number is displayed
on the information bar.
2 Keep touching one of preset assign-
ments to store the phone number.
The phone number you selected is stored in
presets.
#WhenP1—P6 are not displayed,you can dis-
playthem bytouching LIST.
#NoData is displayedfor emptyassignment.
Evenif the assignmentis taken, you can replace
it tothe new one by keeping touching the assign-
ment.
Recalling preset numbers
1 Touchone of preset assignments.
The selected phone number should now be
displayed on the information bar.
#WhenP1—P6 are not displayed,you can dis-
playthem bytouching LIST.
2 Touch to make a call.
3 Toend the call, touch .
The estimated call time appears in the display
(this may differ slightly from the actual call
time).
Making a call by enteringphone numberImportant
Youare required to park your vehicle and set the

1 TouchDIRECT to display the direct dial
display.
2 Touch0—9 to input numbers.
#Foran international call, touch add “+”to add
+tothe phone number.
#If you want to store the enteredphone number
topreset assignment, touch SET here. The display
returnsto the normal display and the phone num-
ber you entered is selected.
#TouchCLEAR to delete the number. Touchand
holdCLEAR to delete allthe input numbers.
#Upto 24digits can be entered.
3 When you completed entering the
number,touch to make a call.
4 Toend the call, touch .
The estimated call time appears in the display
(this may differ slightly from the actual call
time).
Clearing memory1 TouchCLEAR MEMORY on the function
menu.
