You can use this unit to control a multi-CD player, which is sold separately.

These are the basic steps necessary to play a CD with your multi-CD player. More advanced CD operation is explained starting on page 55.

!This unit does not have a disc title input function.

!Only those functions described in this man- ual are supported by 50-disc multi-CD players.

1Source icon

Shows which source has been selected.

2Source name

Shows the selected source name.

3Disc number indicator

Shows the disc number currently playing.

4Track number indicator

Shows the track number currently playing.

5Play time indicator

Shows the elapsed playing time of the cur- rent track.

6Disc title indicator

Shows the title of the currently playing disc only when playing CD TEXT discs.

7Disc list display Shows the disc list.

1Touch the source icon and then touch M-CD to select the multi-CD player.

2Touch any of 01—06 to select a disc you want to listen to.

If you want to select a disc located at 7 to 12, touch PREV or NEXT to display 07—12.

# When 01—06 and 07—12 are not displayed, you can display them by touching LIST.

# You can also sequentially select a disc by using a/b when DISC LIST is not displayed.

!When the multi-CD player performs the pre- paratory operations, READY is displayed.

!If an error message such as ERROR-02 is dis- played, refer to the multi-CD player owner’s manual.

!If there are no discs in the multi-CD player ma- gazine, NO DISC is displayed.

Pausing CD playback

Pause lets you temporarily stop disc playback.
