Sending at a Specific Time (Send Later)

Using the Send Later function, you can delay transmission of your fax message until a specified time. This allows you to take advantage of off- peak telephone line charges without having to be by the machine at the time of transmission.

D Confirm that " 1. Send Later " is displayed.

EPress the {OK} key.

F Press 0 or 1 to select "On".

GPress the {OK} key.

H Press 0 or 1 to select “AM” or “PM”.

Note

❒You can not specify a time more than 24 hours later.

❒This function is only available with Memory Transmission.

A Make sure that the machine is in Facsimile mode and the standby display is shown.

B Place your original and select any scan settings you require.

CPress the {Transmission Option}key.

IPress the {OK} key.

J Enter the time that you want to send the fax message with the number key.

Enter the hour setting (1 to 12). Then press 0 or 1.

Then enter a 2-digit number for the minute setting (00 to 59).

Note

❒When entering numbers small- er than 10, add a leading zero.

❒If you make a mistake, press the {Clear/Stop} key and try again.

❒If the current time shown on the display is not correct, change it. See p.43 “Setting the Date and Time”.
