Setting the Date and Time

Use this function to set your ma- chine's internal clock to the current time and date.

If the current date and time are wrong, use this procedure to correct them.

Note

❒If you make a mistake when enter- ing numbers, press the {Clear/Stop} key and try again.

❒The machine automatically sets the internal clock one hour ahead when daylight saving time begins, and one hour back when it ends.

A Press the {User Tools} key.

B Press 0 or 1 until " 4. Fax Fea- tures " is displayed.

CPress the {OK} key.

D Press 0 or 1 until " 3. Setup " is displayed.

EPress the {OK} key.

F Press 0 or 1 until " 3. Date/Time " is displayed.

GPress the {OK} key.

H Use the number keys to enter the year.

IPress the {OK} key

J Press 0 or 1 to select the correct month.

K Press the {OK} key. 5

L Use the number keys to enter the correct number for the date (1 to 31).

MPress the {OK} key.

N Press 0 or 1 to select "AM” or “PM”.

OPress the {OK} key.

P Use the number keys to enter the correct time.

Enter the current hour setting (1 to 12), and then use the number keys to enter a 2-digit number for the current minute setting (00 to 59)
