Option Settings

POLLING	If you wish to use a Rapid Key as a polling key, press		(YES),
	press the Rapid Key that you wish to use (any Rapid Key not
	already in use), and then press START .
	If you do not wish to use the polling function, press		(NO).
	Note: When a Rapid Key is used as the polling key, it cannot be
	used for Rapid Key Dialling.
	Initial setting: NO
AUTO PRINT	Press	(YES) to have the machine automatically print an
OUT
	Activity Report once every 40 send/receive operations. (The

report can still be printed manually at any time.) Press (NO) to turn off Auto Print Out.

Initial setting: NO

ECM MODE Press (YES) to have any distortions in a transmission due to

noise on the telephone line automatically corrected before print- out at the receiving end. This is only effective when the other

machine has ECM as well. Press (NO) to turn off ECM mode. (When there is considerable noise on the line, you may find that ECM slows transmission. Turning off ECM mode may increase transmission speed.)

Initial setting: YES

LANGUAGE	This sets the language that appears in the display, reports, and
SELECTION	lists. Press	for English,	for Swedish or	for Polish.

A beep will sound and the display will change to the selected language.
