Register when connection is established, deregister when connection is terminated. Can be used only if the modem is operating as a client.

Turn off \R2 option

Auto-register when modem is powered on. If S-Register 13 is set to zero this option puts the modem into automatic registration mode.

Turn off \R4 option

Set Subscriber Identity

 

Displays the modem's NEI (IP Address) list (or configuration), and also to select or deselect, the NEI to

 

be used for network registration. It supports both point-to-point (normal) and multicast (if being used)

 

IP Addresses. The CDPD Service Provider provides the IP addresses.

 

NOTE:

 

The multicast NEI must be selected prior to registering the point to point NEI since they must be

 

registered as a pair.

Format:

AT\Sn

AT\S+n

Select the NEI in slot <n> as the active IP Address, where <n> = 0 - 9.

Select the NEI in slot <n> as the multicast IP Address. The active NEI slot may not be selected.

De-select address <n> as the active or multicast NEI

Display the IP Address list. The active NEI is marked by an <*>, the selected multicast NEI is marked by a <+>
