10 Display the values of BAL X and BAL Y corresponding to the ones of the image selected in step 9 by using the G or g button.

Example: When the color balance (55 & 45) of the image printed on the bottom left is the best:

Display BAL X by pressing the F or f button, then 55 by pressing the G or g button.

B A L Y :

Display 55 for BAL X and 45 for BAL Y by pressing the G or g button.

Display BAL Y by pressing the F or f button, then 45 by pressing the G or g button.

The color balance has been adjusted to the values selected in step 9.

11 Press the MENU button. The regular screen appears.

To readjust the color balance

When the desired color balance cannot be obtained in step 9, readjust the color balance.

You can also perform fine adjustment following the same operation procedures.

1 Display the values of BAL X and BAL Y of the image which is the most appropriate among nine images.

In this case, you can perform fine adjustment or rough adjustment by changing the value of BAL STEP.

To perform fine adjustment

To perform color balance adjustment within the current color balance range, reduce the value of BAL STEP.

If you change BAL STEP from 05 to 03, the color balances of the test print are changed as illustrated.

Note

		The above illustration indicates the color balance when the balance step is
		changed from 05 to 03. However, on the actual printout, values of the color
		balance are not printed on each image. They are printed on the bottom of the
