Note – Proper DIMM seating is verified by a clicking sound. Ensureproper seating
occurs.
4. Replace the power supply.
See Section8.1.2, “Replacing the Power Supply” on page 8-3.
5. Connect the AC power cord.
6. Detach the wrist strap.
7. Replace the side access cover.
See Section7.3, “Replacing the Side Access Cover” on page 7-4.
8. Power on the system unit.
See Section6.1, “Powering On the System Unit” on page 6-2.
10.6 Audio CardToremove and replace the audio card, proceed as follows.
10.6.1 Removing the Audio Card
1. Power off the system unit.
See Section6.2, “Powering Off the System Unit” on page 6-3.
2. Disconnect any audio cables from the audio card.
3. Remove the side access cover.
See Section7.1, “Removing the Side Access Cover” on page 7-2.
Caution – Useproper ESD grounding techniques when handling components. Wear
an antistatic wrist strap and use an ESD-protected mat. Store ESD-sensitive
components in antistatic bags before placing them on any surface.
4. Attach the wrist strap.
