4.6.4test alias name, device path, -all

The test command, combined with a device alias or device path, enables a device self-test program. If a device has no self-test program, the message:

No selftest method for device name is displayed. To enable the

self-test program for a device, type the test command followed by the device alias or device path name.

Note –The diskette drive is selected as the test alias name example.
