Configuration of SNMP Parameters Using FTP
By default, SNMP is disabled. To use it, or to configure any other SNMP parameter using FTP and a text editor, follow the steps outlined below. However, it is much faster and easier to do this remotely, using the web interface (see “Remote SNMP Configuration” on page
1. Send a “get” command:
Sample Entry: F100 config get snmp host:192.168.1.14 dir:temp
The unit responds: Source file /config/snmp.conf bytes read: 1274 Dest File temp/snmp.conf bytes written: 1274 Configuration files transferred successfully!
