Installing optional fonts

If you ordered the optional 52 additional fonts for your printer, you’ll need to install them on your computer. Refer to the optional font disks and installation instructions for more information.

What next?

■When you have set up all the hardware and connections, installed the software on your computer, turned on the power and allowed a warm-up period, you are ready to print. Chapter 3, “Printing,” contains useful information on basics such as color correction modes, print media, fonts and printing hints. For detailed information on printing options, refer to the Phaser 340 Drivers and Utilities Printing Reference.

■To install a hard disk for font storage, turn to “Adding a hard disk for font storage” on page B-8.

■To disable the startup page, refer to “Enabling and disabling the startup page” on page A-7.
