Help System
The oscilloscope hasa Help system with topics that cover all the
features of the oscilloscope. Youcan use the Help system to display
several kinds of information:
HGeneral information about understandi ng and using the
oscilloscope, suchas Using the Menu System.
HInformation about specific menus and c ontrols, such as the
Vertical Position Control.
HAdvice about problems you may face while using an oscillo-
scope, such as Reducing Noise.
The Help system provides three ways for you to find the inform ation
you need: context-sensitive, hyperlinks, and an index.
Context-Sensitive
The oscilloscope displays informationa bout the last menu displayed
on the screen when you push the HELP front-panel button. T he
HELP SCROLL LED lights under the HORIZONTAL POSITION
knob to indicate the alternative func tion oft he knob. Ift he topic uses
more than one page, turn the HELP SCROLL knob to m ove from
page to page within the topic.
