Control Panel Error Messages

Message Condition/Reason/Action

Out of Memory

Press OK Button

Error 016-718

The printer memory is full and cannot continue processing the current print job.

Press the OK button to clear the message, cancel the current print job, and conduct the next print job, if any.

Press the Cancel button to cancel the print job.

Press the Left Arrow button to open the Walk-Up Features menu and delete the job being held.

if the problem has not been corrected, turn the printer off and then on again.

To avoid this error in the future, do the following:

	• Delete unnecessary fonts, macros, and other data in printer
	memory.
	• Install additional printer memory.
PDL Error	Error relating to PCL emulation problems has occurred.
Press OK Button	Press the OK button to clear the message, cancel the current print job,
Error 016-720	and conduct the next print job, if any.
	Press the Cancel button to cancel the print job.
Disk Full	RAM disk memory is full and cannot continue processing the current
Press OK Button	print job.
	Press the OK button to clear the message, cancel the current print job,

	and conduct the next print job, if any.
	Press the Cancel button to cancel the print job.
	Press the Left Arrow button to open the Walk-Up Features menu and
	delete the current job.
	To avoid this error in the future, do the following:
	Reduce the number of print pages, such as splitting the print data.
	Increase free memory space by deleting unnecessary data in the
	RAM disk.
Ready to Print %S	The printer’s internal temperature is too high.
Over Heat	Processing on the printer has been slowed down. When the internal
Turned Halfmode	temperature falls, the processing speed will automatically increase.
Ready to Print %S	The printer is in the custom toner mode.
Non-Xerox Toner	Though some of the print cartridges reach the end of their lives, you
	can continue printing.
Restart Printer	Error NNN-NNN relates to printer problems.
116-NNN*3	Turn the printer off and then on.

Reinstall the sheet feeder.
