Macro Function
This function enables you to program up to 10 sequential operations into a single button.
You can store up to three sequences(macros) into the M1, M2 and M3 buttons.
1Press and hold down both the ENTER button and one of three numeric buttons (1, 2 or 3) corresponding to the number of MACRO button (M1, M2 or M3) for more than 1 second.
For example, if you want to program a macro into the M1 button, press the ENTER button and "1".
The LED will flicker once.
2Press the operation buttons you want to program in order.
Note:
You should press the corresponding REMOTE SELECT buttons before pressing each operation button.
Example:
You want to play a DVD on the DVD player connected to VIDEO 2 jacks of this receiver. You can set a macro to turn on all the components (Receiver, DVD player and TV) and start playing the movie all in one press of a button. Once you have put your remote into the learning mode as shown in the step above, enter the following:
1.Press the RECEIVER button to control the receiver.
2.Press the POWER button to turn the receiver on.
3.Press the RECEIVER button.
4.Press the VIDEO 2 button to select the input source.
5.Press the TV button to control the TV.
6.Press the POWER button to turn the TV on.
7.Press the DVD button to control the DVD player.
8.Press the POWER button to turn the DVD player on.
9.Press the DVD button.
10.Press the PLAY button to start playback.
3Press the ENTER button to store the macro.
If the macro is programmed successfully, the LED will flicker twice.
<If you program a new macro into a MACRO button, the previously programmed macro will be overwritten.
To delete a macro program:
Perform steps 1 and 3 , but ignore step 2 .
Using a Macro
Point the remote control unit towards the remote sensors of the components to be controlled, and press the MACRO button (M1, M2 or M3).
<The codes programmed into a MACRO button will be transmitted at an interval of 0.5 seconds. However, some components may not be able to complete one operation in 0.5 seconds and may miss the next code. In this case, the macro function cannot control the corresponding components correctly.
<Be sure to use the remote control unit within the effective range of all the components.
<This function may not work correctly on some components.
